We hold ISTD exams in: BALLET/TAP and Modern! LAMDA exams in Singing and Acting!

At DSS we work towards ISTD exams in Ballet, Modern, Tap and Street! It is the biggest reward to see our students grow through working towards their exams. They help focus our students and give them a goal to aim towards. Exams produce fantastic technique and also self confidence which is incredible to see! They improve so much whilst studying the syllabus for that grade and then they always come out of their exams buzzing and eager to move up and learn more! I also see the bond and support between the students before/ during and after exams. All students receive a mark sheet and a certificate and the sense of achievement is huge! They can look at these results and believe in themselves!! We also do presentations when handing out the results in a super positive and celebratory way! Our exams are very relaxed… do your best and have fun!! xx
